🌍 Exciting Opportunity for Virologists from Developing Countries 🌍
At the WSV, we are united by our mission to make global collaboration in virology more accessible, particularly for scientists from developing countries. Our founder, Prof. Ahmed S. Abdel-Moneim, motivated by the challenges faced by researchers in these regions, established the World Society for Virology to address these very issues.
We are pleased to announce that WSV is offering a 50% discount on conference fees for virologists from developing countries attending the WSV2025 Conference. The conference will be held from March 12-14, 2025, and we are excited to bring together experts from around the world. While travel support is not yet available, we are actively working with partners and sponsors to secure funding to assist with travel expenses in the near future.
We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by the Malaysian team and the Executive Committee, led by Prof. Maria Söderlund-Venermo, the current president of the WSV. This team works tirelessly, side by side, to ensure that virologists around the world have the opportunity to present their work, share ideas, and foster valuable collaborations.
This conference is not just a gathering – it’s an opportunity to be part of a global movement, to forge new connections, and to advance virology through collaboration. We would love for you to be part of this exciting journey, and we are working hard to make it accessible for all participants.
We also extend a special invitation to eminent scientists worldwide to join us, share their expertise, and engage with the vibrant community of researchers at WSV2025. Your participation will be invaluable in shaping the future of virology and fostering new collaborations across borders.
If you are eligible and interested, please do not hesitate to get in touch for more information.
Additionally, we invite you to submit your abstract and engage with some of the most distinguished keynote speakers in the field, who have generously volunteered their time and resources to support this event. Their commitment to advancing virology and their belief in the WSV’s mission are truly inspiring.
