Prof.Kristina Broliden is a senior consultant in Clinical Virology and Head of Department of Medicine Solna, Karolinska Institutet, Sweden. Her research group is focused on HIV infections, with a specific interest in human mucosal immunology and natural resistance against HIV acquisition in high-risk groups of women living in HIV-endemic countries. Her clinical research in the field of virology has also focused on viral infections in immunosuppressed patients.
