We are pleased to announce that as of October 2020, Virology [ELSEVIER INC] became The Official Journal of the World Society for Virology (WSV). The World Society for Virology (WSV) and Virology will now work together to make science easily available to virologists worldwide. The WSV provides membership to virologists free of charge. Virology offers authors two choices to publish their research, subscription (no fee required), or gold open access. Both bodies have the joint objective of making life easy for virologists worldwide regardless of boarders or economic status. Through this partnership, we believe we will be more powerful and effective, especially in the current challenging time that needs the unification of all efforts. Virologists worldwide are invited to join the WSV and to submit their papers to Virology.
