The WSV Mentoring Program is intended for professionals in research and clinical fields at different stages of their careers in virology. This program will provide a connection with experts in the field of virology who will offer advice and guidance on how to champion your career in virology. The career and development committee at WSV will select and match the participants with an experience virologist. Matching will be based on the participant’s interests and career stage and mentor’s availability. Once a mentoring
agreement is established, we encourage that the mentor-mentee relationship continues for at least six months and up to one year. We expect that this program will provide an enriching and rewarding experience for both parties involved.
